Work across projects in Overview

Group workspaces, open sessions from different projects, and let files and terminals follow the selected session.

18-second silent walkthrough, recorded from a real Prokop instance. Written steps below.

Create an overview group

Have the workspaces you want already added to Prokop. If needed, add your project folders first.

  1. Click Overview at the top of the window.
  2. Open the group selector and choose Create group.
  3. Enter a Name and select the workspaces to include.
  4. Click Create.

A group brings the selected workspaces into one sidebar. It does not merge their files or conversations.

Open sessions from different projects

Click a session under any workspace in the group to open it as a tab. Open sessions from several projects and split them side by side like any other tabs.

Your panels follow the selected session

Selecting a session also selects its project for the Explorer, Changes, and Branches, so switching from a session in project A to one in project B switches those panels to project B. Terminals stay with their own workspace.

With several machines saved, the Other machines section at the top of Overview lists their sessions too. See several machines.

Next, explore multiple-session controls or read about workspaces and sessions.
